I, James J. Stout, registered architect NYS license number 021633 would like to
submit the following. I have inspected and analyzed the roof structure with the
information provided to me by the solar company for the above-mentioned address
and have determined the structure and the panel attachment to be adequate to
support the new additional load imposed by the proposed solar panel system and is
in compliance with 130mph wind design load as per 2025 Residential code of NYS
(RCNYS), 2025 building code of NYS (BCNYS) residential code, 2025 Energy
conservation construction code of NYS (ECCCNYS) and the IRC 324 and 2023 NEC.
The analysis of the documents supplied by the client relies on sound engineering
judgment and relevant experience. However, regardless of the professional's
qualifications or the thoroughness of the investigation, preexisting conditions cannot
always be anticipated beyond the scope of direct observation. No additional
guarantees,whether expressed or implied,are provided
regarding the professional recommendations outlined in
this report.
The 14"deep TJI rafters @ 16"o.c. will provide
