REGULAR MEETING
June 17, 2026
HELD BOTH IN PERSON & VIA ZOOM
Present: Committee: Gerard Orientale, Chairman; Frank Imbriano,Jay Jansen
There was no meeting held in May 2026.
This Regular Meeting of the Southold Town Tree Committee was called to order at 6:00 p.m.,
this meeting was held in person and via Zoom.—(there were no Zoom Attendees).
We will contact Ironwood Industries and Town Attorney to speak about terms of contract for the
2026 planting of the fall trees.
Location spots for a requested Memorial tree were discussed —which is to be planted in New
Suffolk.
Gerard reminded and spoke about participation and meeting up for the July 4t' Parade.
New Fishers Island rep has now been formally appointed for a three-year term —
Jeff Edwards.
Remainder of meeting—Discussion on the importance of participation and being pro-active in
the scouting out of new Fall planting spots.
This meeting was ADJOURNED at 7:05 p.m.
We will next meet on Wednesday,August 19, 2026.
