(631) 765-1809 MINUTES SPECIAL MEETING THURSDAY AUGUST 20, 2026 A special meeting of the SOUTHOLD TOWN ZONING BOARD OF APPEALS was held at the Southold Town Hall Annex, Second Floor Conference Room, 54375 Main Road at Youngs Avenue, Southold on Thursday August 20, 2026 commencing at 4:30 P.M. The public had access to view and listen to the meeting as it was happening via Zoom. However, this meeting was not a public hearing and no testimony was solicited or received. Present were: Leslie Kanes Weisman, Chairperson Elizabeth Sakarellos, Board Assistant Robert Lehnert, Member Donna Westermann, Office Assistant Margaret Steinbugler, Member Julie McGivney, Assistant Town Attorney Nicholas Planamento, Member 4:30 P.M. Chairperson Weisman called the meeting to order. Vote of the Board: Ayes: Members Weisman, Lehnert, Planamento and Steinbugler. This Resolution was duly adopted(4-0) (Member Acampora absent. EXECUTIVE SESSION: 4:30 P.M. 4:30 P.M. -A Motion was offered by Chairperson Weisman, seconded by Member Lehnert to enter into Executive Session in order to receive Attorney Advice. Vote of the Board: Ayes: Members Weisman, Lehnert, Planamento and Steinbugler. A Work Session will begin at 9:00 A.M and Public Hearings will commence at 10:00 A.M. Vote of the Board: Ayes: Member Weisman(Chairperson), Lehnert, Planamento and Steinbugler. This Resolution was dui adopted (4-0). (Member Acampora absent). RESOLUTION ADOPTED: Motion was offered by Chairperson Weisman, seconded by Member Planamento to approve Minutes from the Regular Meeting held August 6, 2026. Vote of the Board: yes: Member Weisman(Chairperson), Lehnert, Planamento and Steinbugler. This Resolution was duly adopted(4-0). (Member Acampora absent). RESOLUTION ADOPTED: Motion was offered'by Chairperson Weisman, seconded by Member Lehnert to GRANT an extension to#7361 SE, Paul Reinckens, 1065 Hummel Avenue, Southold,NY SCTM No. 1000-63-2-26, to expire on June 25, 2027. Vote of the Board: Ayes: Member Weisman(Chairperson), Planamento, Lenhert and Steinbugler. This Resolution as duly adopted(4-0). (Member Acampora absent). There being no other business properly coming before the Board at this time, the Chairperson declared the meeting adjourned. The meeting was adjourned at 5:48 P.M.
