NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN THAT A PUBLIC HEARING WILL BE HELD BY THE TOWN
TRUSTEES OF THE TOWN OF SOUTHOLD, AT THE SOUTHOLD TOWN HALL, MAIN ROAD,
SOUTHOLD, NEW YORK, ON THURSDAY, MARCH 26, 1987 ON THE FOLLOWING APPLICATION
FOR A PERMIT UNDER THE PROVISIONS OF THE WETLAND ORDINANCE OF THE TOWN OF
SOUTHOLD.
In the matter of the application of the Land Use Company on behalf of
Nicholas Micciche to construct a 3' x 30' catwalk leading to a 3' x 16'
ramp leading to a 5' x 40' float dock. Property is located at 260 Oak
Street, Cutchogue.
Trustee Smith: That is the official public notice on this application.
Are there any comments for or against this application?
West Ruroede: My name is West Ruroede. This seems like a big dock for the
Cutchogue, creek area. It seems a bit extravagant. It seems like it could
hold 4 large boats.
Trustee Smith: Thank You. Is there any one else who wishes to comment?
Glenn Just: My name is Glenn Just, I represent Mr. & Mrs. Micciche on this
matter. A 5' x 40' float .per 36' boat is not extravagent. Boats are getting
bigger.
Trustee Smith: What is the total length of this dock?
Glenn Just: From high water about 32' out for the fixed dock. Then you have
the ramp going on to the float itself. If you have the plan, it's 30 ft. back to
the bank which is all marsh.
Trustee Smith: Your talking about 70 ft. from high water. Thank you.
Trustee Smith: Are there any other comments? No comments? No response.
