Some of the approved structures were installed in locations other than originally approved, in order to accommodate underground utilities and other considerations. The total capacity of the drainage system has not been changed for that approved. Please note that the drainage originally shown on a separate parcel, SCTM #1000-64-01-14.8, was not installed. Underground water and natural gas are located under the drive in this very restricted area, making it impossible to install the approved 8x4 foot leaching pools in accordance with SCDHS regulations, which require an eight foot separation between leaching pools and public water lines. In our opinion, and that of the excavator on the job, TKF Excavating and Demolition, excavation in this area would be very risky to the shared underground utilities. No work was done on this parcel. Please schedule a final inspection of this site, and forward your approval to the Building Dept., which is finalizing its review for the Certificate of Occupancy.
