Dear Mr. Fergus-:
Please be advised that this office is in receipt of your letter dated
September 30i 1987 requesting an inspection by the Board of Town Trustees.
Prior to the Board making an inspection, we will need to have six copies
of a licensed land survey of the property. Upon receipt of same, we will be
happy to expedite your request.
Should you have any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to
contact this office at the telephone number listed above. We await your
remittance.

Dear Sir:
I am writing to inform, request permission, or whatever is
required to trim cattails on property that I own, which I
purchased several years ago. (Xerox of survey attached) My wife
and I intend to build a home on this property within the next
several months and this is the first and very important step for
US.
The sole reason and necessity to trim the cattails is our
desire to pick a site for our home. Currently, the property is
almos o covered with cattails (phragmites) 7 to 9 foot tall,
and it's impossible to plan nor see where a house can be
situtated. We recognize that Southhold town and DEC rules must
be observed in our plans, which is the reason for writing you on
this matter.
Attached is a copy. of the same letter I sent to the DEC so
that any related controls or approvals can be processed at your
earliest convenience.
