Dear Trustees,
I am asking for a waiver of the wetland ordinance
in order to obtain a permit for the replacement of a
33 foot catwalk and four poles that secure my floating
docks. (circa 1960 ) I do not have a permit for the
current docks as they have been in place for over 20
years. My proposal is to remove the ten poles, now
used to secure the floating docks and replace them with
four, which Greenport Dock said would be adequate. I
also propose to remove the existing timber catwalk and
replace it with a new timber one using the exact dimentions
and placement of the existing one.
?age (1 ) shows the existing catwalk and floating
docks. Red indicating placement of proposed catwalk and
four new poles. If the removal of the old poles and a
docks becomes a problem getting
portion of the floating is (page 3)
a permit (page 2) than I will leave the docks as
The accompanying photos show the existing catwalk and
floating docks in question.
Thank you,
