CONSERVATION ADVISORY COUNCIL
The following recommendation was made at the Southold Town Conservation
Advisory Council meeting held Monday, December 15, 1997:
WR-92
Moved by Melvyn Morris, seconded by Mary Griffin, it was
RESOLVED to recommend to the Southold Town Board of Trustees, concerning
the Waiver Request of ANNE J. MAZZELLA 81-1-8 to obtain a waiver permit
for a pool, deck around the pool, walkway, shed and fencing at 3895 Paradise
Point Road, Southold, the following:
The Council recommends APPROVAL if the applicant can provide a copy of a
legitimate building permit showing that the project being granted a permit
without Trustee approval was done as an oversight by the Building Department
or
The CAC recommends DISAPPROVAL if the Building Department cannot be
held responsible for a permit being issued without Trustee approval.
Vote of Council: Ayes: Melvyn Morris, Mary Griffin, Scott Hilary, Bret
Hedges, Sharon Shine, and Alicia Marin
Abstain: Kenneth Meskill
Motion Carried

To Whom It May Concern,
I would like a waiver from the Trus Bees for r_Iy p6ol,the deck around the pool,
the walkway, shed,and fencing.
The reason for this request,is that%vhen Mr. 14, Reilly:installed my pool,he
obtained a building permit from the Southold Building Department without obtaining
permits from the Trustees Department.
I was not aware of the problem.
At this time-I would like to rectify the problem by requesting a waiver from the
Trustees Department.
I am'enclosing a new survey with all construction in question shown.
I have installed a back wash system nor the pool filter and pump. If it ever needed
to be used it will only back wash on the south side of the road: approximately 300 feet
from the wetlands. This way any runoff cannot per-etrate the wetlands.
